I just like to know if it’s possible to connect this receiver to dish network dish I know it’s not going to get any channels from dish network.

Before someone else does it, I need to warn you that this topic could be banned in this forum and you could get an official warning from a moderator.

The device is an FTA receiver (Free To Air) and can be connected to any compliant Satellite and LNB dish designed for the DVB standard. You need to consult the following site to find out the dish size and location of the satelllites you can watch with it:

I don't understand whats the big deal.we have the dish but no Dish Network receiver so no hack or any of this stuff .

It's totally illegal to use a FTA receiver for Dish.....you want Dish Newtwork, get a receiver from them. Simple.

Just to clear up:

owning and FTA receiver and using a dish network "dish" is not illegal, there is a lot of Free to Air channels that can be tuned with this device. Now, the act of trying to watch pay tv for free is illegal in the states.

this thing needs alot of work I guess I'm going to need a professional installer,so I'm dropping the project
