  1. Hi,

I know this is not about video, but it's about DVD authoring : >, and I thought maybe someone here might have an easy answer.

I rip people's CDs for their iPods (for money : >), and I make DVD backups for them in case they lose the data. I need to make the DVDs show up automatically right in iTunes - so far the only software that can create iTunes discs is iTunes itself. The problem is that iTunes is very fussy when it comes to burning. This may be due to my hardware setup, but I've found, across multiple computers, that iTunes spits the DVDs back out 75% of the time after checking the playlist. I'm not sure why. Nonetheless, this wastes a TON of time. I use both Mac and PC, and software like Toast and Nero - the 'Mp3 discs' made with these programs don't show up automatically in iTunes. Is there something I can do? Is it a matter of some sort of hidden header file on the DVD that I could add?

    Thank you in advance!

    Bonjour,

    Remy

If you open both an iTunes-made disc, and a non-iTunes-made disc in ISOBuster, what is the difference?

You could post screencaps, and then we could all examine and deconstruct the problem...

I don't think a CD/DVD of MP3s (or any other compressed-audio format) is going to show up automatically in iTunes (on either a Mac or a PC) under any circumstances. (The last time I checked (admittedly, the v4 of iTunes that's on the PC I'm using to write this reply), iTunes didn't have a 'Media Library'-like function that automatically scans hard drives and removable discs and adds songs from those. Unless it's an audio CD, you have to drag the files into the iTunes library window manually.)
If cameras add ten pounds, why would people want to eat them?
