    I'm going to do some .MP4 encodings with x264 and i began to wonder what should I use for audio? With mp3 the LAME that is considered "the best" mp3 encoder out there, but what about aac? I will be using 192kps for bitrate and some of the content is live audience recordings, so there will be a lot of noise..

    Any comments or recommendations will be welcome!

    Personally I prefer aac but utimately you have to be mindful of your target device. I would recommend nero.

    besweet can use the new nero encoder and cli with 2-pass acc encoding
