Playing back an SVCD on a Sony 725

Is it possable to create an svcd in order for it to be played on a Sony 725?,

i have a Sony DVP NS400, my firend has a DAV S300 both does not paly SVCD. and I have read in lot of forms here and in other groups that most of sony Player does not support SVCD Playback.

Use Tmpgenc to reformat the header to VCD. That way you get SVCD quality and the DVD player thinks it's a VCD.

And burn it to a high quality CD-RW - the S725 will choke on a standard CD-R
