Hi,
I have some video clips with different formats like m2v , mpeg1, wmv and I want to burn them on a DVD what should I do and what software would be the best ?

The first place I would look is in the 'CONVERT' guides to the left. Generally the 'best' way for quality would be to use a standalone MPEG-2 encoder and a standalone DVD authoring program. I use TMPGEnc encoder and TMPGEnc DVD Author for that. There are more encoder and authoring programs in 'Tools', again to the left.
If you want easy, ConvertXToDVD does most all of the conversion process. SUPER works well with some input formats also.
