    1st im new so please be kind,you all are some very very smart people(i have been reading)i on the other hand are not as smart and im very new to this.
    My problem is i have a dvd that when it is done playing it will restart or rerun how do i stop this?
    Im useing clonedvd2 for burnning(very easy to use program even for me)and im looking for the eastest to use softwere for edtiting.
    like i said im new and not very good with this type of thing but trying to learn.

    You didn't say what you were playing it with, but either way, look for a "Repeat" option on your playing device somewhere in a menu. On Media Player Classic, go to View->Options->Playback and uncheck the repeat options. On Windows Media Player, just hit Ctrl-T to toggle Repeat off. If you're playing on a standalone, look on your DVD player's remote or in a setup menu.

    im sorry but im trying to change it on the dvd,im running copys for a doctor buddy of mine and he wants his dvd at the end to say something like (please open the door and someone will be with you)and then he wants the dvd to stop(it will be used on a stand alone dvd player hooked to a tv)right now every copy made will start to replay on all dvd players (sorry i didnt type in enough info)im running copys via my computer for him.

    It sounds as though the DVDs you have go back to the root menu when they reach the end and that is then set to timeout and play automatically. As it appears you are simply copying an original DVD, it is a feature of the original. It will need to be re-authored to change the behavoir.
