I recorded some cartoons for my daughter from tv on my digital camcorder. We are about to drive across the U.S. so I need to get some movies for the car. When I put the files onto my computer the 27 minute cartoons were about 425MB each. I can only fit about 4 cartoons on a DVD. Can someone tell me what process I would need to do to fit more cartoons on here?

Also, can someone recommend good burning software besides Nero? I've got a very good computer with dual processors and Nero always crashes. I've reinstalled dozens of times.

    Thanks!

Adjust the quality settings (varies with the software being used). Most authoring software has default settings, pretty much like a VCR (SP, LP, SLP). 2 hours of video is normal for a DVD (single layer). The more video you squeeze on, will lower the quality of the files.

There is other burning software, Nero is one of the most popular and easy to use. You may want to spend a little time troubleshooting and isolate the cause of the Nero issue.
