Everytime I convert the file in TMPEng it comes back as full screen version. The format of the file is 2.35:1 and there is no setting in the advanced tab to change to this. Any suggestions?

Don`t know if this is the best sollution but works for me.
When you encode to Mpg in TMPEng there are two options you want in the advanced tab, they are Source aspect ratio and Video arrange method. It`ll take some testing to get the best results but I use 16:9 or 2.11:9 in Source aspect ratio and Full screen (Keep aspect ratio 2) in the video arrange option but you can use a custom setting but it`ll depend on your dvd player playing a non standard disc. Mine will play a SVCD set to 576*432 so I can keep the full 240 vertical lines of the film that I had.
Best to do a few tests and see what looks best
Hope this helps
