I have Toshiba SD2800 DVD player and it says it can play DVD,VCD and CD disks but when I trying to play CD-R then it doesn't recognize that CD. Did anyone know why ? and what kind/name of the CD-R should I use to play on my DVD player.
Any help is appreciated.

most dvd/vcd players say that they are vcd compatable but that dosen't mean its cdr vcd compatable. your player can only play original vcds from homg kong or mayaysia or other forien countries that has original vcds.
however, there is a cdr brand called PNY technoligies. this brand of cdrs act as original vcds. so if u copy a vcd on this brand, it should work.
