  1. Apparently I need a WDM Wrapper to use VDub with my All in Wonder 7500 Radeon, but can't find them. I have searched, but none of the posts I've found point me to specific links for the files for this card......

    Thanks.

  2. It's on the ATI website. Just search for the drivers for your card, and it's on the list of latest drivers for the AIW Radeon series.

  3. I have that installed ( http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/misc/wdmcap613105118.html )

Why can't I capture video in VirtualDub then?

  4. Tyr This....

After you unzip, you will see three files, click on the .inf file to install

  5. I've done that, but it still won't capture the video. It's munching up disk space, so is presumably capturing the blank screen with the audio (which is playing back)......

I Know that is a simple question, but do know exactly from where you capture? I mean, TV, S-Video or Composite?

Maybe the cable is not installed correctly...

  7. TV Tuner. I can capture with the Ati Multi Media Centre, and Virtual Dub shows the channel I'm trying to capture, but when I play back the captured file, it's all audio and a blank screen.

Yes, I remember that it's Vdub your having problems with. I have Win XP Pro with tha aiw rage 128 pro agp. I did use the guide to install it. And I am able to capture with Vdub. it list the driver as "driver 0 - Microsoft WDM Image Capture(Win32). With what I have read at ATI it's in with Win XP.

just for curiousity's sake, have you tried "compatability mode" for capturing in virtualdub?

  14. Yes TBear, it is using 'driver 0 - Microsoft WDM Image Capture(Win32)', so it could be XP related.

Liquid, how do I select 'compatabilitymode'?

under the capture menu, you have the "normal" capture (F6), right below it is compatability mode (F5).
