protection or somthing

o.k ive ripped about 30 of my own movies but i carnt seem to rip mission impossible 2 tomb raider and a few others .. when i get to the audio rip part it either says "you have performed a illegal operation" or a red box comes up and it just freezes.. is there anyway around this or not ?
