I used the btirate calculator to use TMPGenc to convert my avi and mpg files to DVD complaint. My total files are 2hrs 22min 46sec. It said to use 4075 bitrate with 192 kbits/sec for the audio. When I put 4075 = 105.6% of capacity? What does that mean? Does that mean it wont fit on a dvd-r when I burn it and I will have to dvd shrink it?
Whats the difference if I set the percent capacity to 100% = 3849 bitrate and use this instead of the 4075. I think the bitrate calc is always off, giving me over-capacity. Can someone comment on why?

so 4075 would be fine even if its 105% capacity? I dont think you know how big it is until AFTER you output everything.

Are you using TMPGEnc Xpress, If so I'd just let it set the bitrate automatic by choosing DVD5 and then change it to 102% size as that always has fit for me.
