Program For Multi Splitting Video Into Clips

I'm looking for a program to split a large video file into a lot of small clips.

Like: mark in, mark out, mark in, mark out..... without having to save after each cut.
Something that has a timeline with thumbnail view if pos.,
that will save without re-encoding.

I have tried Easy Video Splitter v2 but the cursor moves way past the mark in
or out point with just a touch of the mouse.

I think AVCutty might do what you want - it's been ages since I've looked at it, and even then it was just out of curiousity, so I never really delved too deeply.

Can you use the cursor controls with Easy Video Splitter? If so, place the cursor close to where you want it and refine its position by single keyboard strokes - you'll get it exactly where you want, and it won't move...

Oh well - 'twas worth a try...

Ulead Video Studio 9 will do it all, multi trim video and save without re-ecoding

Here is a how to
Ok just insert your avi or mpeg file then goto multi-trim video mark in out, in out....
then ok to go back to time line or story board. You wiil see all your clips at the bottom, change the view so you can see them all, then click on the first clip, go up to "File-Edit-Clip-Tools", then select Clip go down to "Save Trimmed Video" then click on the next and do the same and it will save them in your "Working Folder"
