I have produced a project in TMPGEnc DVD Author that exceeds the capacity of a double-layer DVD. Is it possible to transfer some of the clips from the existing to a newly created project without having to go back to the original file and re-edit it (i.e. by somehow 'cutting and pasting'), and if so how is this done?

Perhaps shrink the project to fit?

Otherwise using shrink or DGIndex you can selectively pull out any of the content for use in another project. Shrink or VobBlanker will remove selected content from a DVD layout, though menu buttons will be more of a problem.

If you feel like spending the money, the new DVD Author PRO will shrink to fit. It also offeres fades and other effects on menus and backgounds. Takes a while to get used to after DVD Author 1.5/1.6, but so far it is more capable, and the shrink to fit (single or dual-layer) is nice.
