I'm trying to create a xvid video file with a bitrate set at 2300kbps - when i start encoding however, the average bitrate is shown as being around 1400kbps pretty much throughout the encoding process.
What setting do i change to force the bitrate to remain as close to the 2300kbps mark as possible?
edit: also, what is the recommended b-vop setting? (i'm trying to convert a mini-dv video file to xvid)
edit2: just noticed it goes over 4000 bitrates on some vids too. I've been playing around with various settings and i still can't get the bitrate to stay close to the 2300 mark
edit3: i changed the profile from L5 to unrestricted and that seems to have done the trick![]()
