I start he conversion with the normal svcd ntsc (per the page instructions)
Bitrate is 2036. I use Toolame for the audio.
When I run the conversion I can see the frames play just fine.
But for some reason the file is double what it should be.
It should only be about 1.4gb, but it comes out to a size of 3gb and doesn't play. I have the same problem with/without Toolame and with vcd... any clue to why this is happening?
I don't know the exact codec version this is in just that its Divx AVI.
TIA

Can anyone please help?????
How can I tell what the original DIVX codec is???
I have tried three Different movies and I get similiar results.
Some of the older ones the I converted before still convert fine....
A
Divx to svcd converts to right file size, but wont play.
b
conversions come out twice the size they should and won't play.
both give an unrecognized codec error in Media player.
