    Hi, as above subject. What methods is used to repair corrupted AV codecs pls, Thank you.

    I have tried,

    Unistalled and reinstalled, but it doesn't seem to solve the problems.

    Could be registry-related ?

    I'd try something like DXMan, but then again if the codec's own internal uninstall routines don't remove entries from the registry, then I don't think there's much any other tool can do for you without some manual "adjustments" yourself.

    As a very last resort, a clean reinstall of windows seems to fix most issues
    If in doubt, Google it.
