    Hello all,

Last night I recorded a 480mb mp4 file with my SonyEricsson c905, but it seems like the memory card was running low on space and although the file was written to the card, it seems like its headers are corrupted/not written. I have been playing around with it since last night but haven't managed to make it play back yet. Here is what I know up to this point:

    #VLC error:
mp4 error: MP4 plugin discarded (no moov box)
    avformat error: av_open_input_stream failed

#VLC error after pasting the first ~40 bits of data from another mp4 taken with the same camera
mp4 error: MP4 plugin discarded (no moov box)

    I have tried:
    # pasting portions of my corrupted file into the playable files
    # pasting the beginning and ending of playable files into the corrupted file
    # I found the "moov" string from a good file (which is missing from the corrupted file), and pasted that part onwards into the corrupted one
    # playing back with windows media player
    # playing back with quicktime on a mac
    # playing back with vlc on a mac
    # reading info with gspot (no info can be read; partial info can be read after replacing the 40 first bits)

Nothing. The data is there, I just reckon that if I knew WHAT to paste and WHERE to paste it, the problem would be solved, since I have a multitude of
good files taken with the same camera.
    I hope someone can help

Is there a tool similar to "Treasured" for Windows?
