    When someone bookmarks a page, and you get their little icon, some of them seem really well designed. I tried using microangelo but can't get anything nearly as readable as most. Anyone have any tips, or other apps that work better?

    its called a favicon. Mine doesn't look that great either on my website but it works. I made it here.

    I know there are more complicated ways to make them but that was ok for a quick free solution in my case.

    As Flaystus said, its called a favicon. Its really nothing more than an icon like the ones on your desktop. I usually do such things in Photoshop or Illustrator and then scale them down and tweak them to make them recognizeable (key idea here is K.I.S.S.) and then I save them. From there just import the images into an icon creater program and export the .ico file. Easy.

    K.I.S.S.? Gonna have to say I'm stupid and have no idea what you mean.

    But then I'm horrible with graphics so I guess thats understandable. What does your mystery acronym mean?
