I have copied dvd files to my PC. 6gb disk worth.
I want to squeeze it onto a normal 4.7gb disk.
I have tried DVD2One but it comes up saying it cant as the files are protected. Ive always used this in the past.
Do i have to use dvd decrypter in some way? i didnt use this 2copy the files from the disk, and do not have the disk anymore, just the files on my pc.
Anyone got ne ideas on what i can do? Some other software?
I dont have the original disk either, just the files on the pc.
I looked at dvd shrink, uploaded the files, selected compression to fit onto one disk, but then the Start button was grey and could not get it to work.
Help?

1) yes, you do have to rip the files to hard drive using dvddecrypter or smartripper, not just copy them across like normal files.Originally Posted by leeegglestone
2) was it your disk to begin with?
3) try smartripper on the files on your hard drive - unless you also have the ifo files it will be difficult.Regards,

dvd2one1.2.3 is what i have.
I dont know why i didnt use dvd decrypter to rip the files,i normally do, i think it may have given me some error and didnt like the disk, but i was able 2copy them normally. oh well, its done now
I dont have my original anymore
will look into the smartripper -
