  1. Ok... i used tmpgenc to make DVD quality mpegs... When I play the mpeg files back on my PC they work fine. Then I used Unlead DVD workshop to make the VIDEO_TS folder. I then burn the folder with Nero 5.5.78 ........... put it in my DVD player and it works great... except for near the end of each file (there are 4 vob files) the audio gets out of sync. This happens with almost every dvd i do..... I think it has something to do with Unlead DVD workshop building the project. Any ideas or suggestions? ...... should I use different software to author the DVD?

  2. I have the same problem with Ulead. I converted an ASF file to MPEG-2 using TMPGenc and the conversion was excellent. When I play the file back in Power DvD and Real One, it looks excellent. But when I try to author Menu's using Ulead the video moves extra fast like it's being fast fowarded and audio is way way way out of synch. I don't know but it can't be the converted file becauses it plays perfect on my PC. It must be Ulead tehn.

  3. Yes, there is an audio/video sync problem. If you had the mpeg 2 encode audio data rate set at 384kbps try lowering it. It worked for me.

  6. Will that be a problem for me if I am just converting AVI's for VCD use? I really like Ulead's chapter menus, but it isn't worth it if it is all out of sync.
