I used Tmpgenc to split a large mpg into two smaller ones, so I can burn separate VCDs. Seemed to work OK, but the second half loses its audio about 3/4 of the way through (see specifics below).

The full mpg plays fine, and part one plays fine - it is just part two that is messed up. I didn't bother to burn it, as I have the problem in Windows Media Player and Media Player Classic.

Even when I'm in the Tmpgenc program previewing to set up the split, I see a little blip right at the point I lose audio, though with Tmpgenc, the audio resumes.

I even tried cutting the little chunk out with no luck.

Any ideas?
