Well I have tried makine some VCDs Recently and every now and then The Video will Speed up/Slow down and the audio remains the same and then it will eventually sync back up. A previous VCD I did a few months ago(from the same stack of CD-Rs). I am Using win xp now and nero 5.5.6.4 or whatever it is(the newest .7.8 Gives me errors saying my CDRW isn't supported or some crap), I burned the working VCD in win98 but just wondering if anyone else has stumbled into this problem as well. I use TMPEG to Encode and so on, going to attempt to let nero encode and see the outcome. And sometimes some glitches would show up I have tried 1125, 1150 1600 1838 Bit rates at 23.976 FPS(as that's what tmpeg says they were encoded at).

I have seen the same problem where the video would stutter for just a split second but the audio was fine. I have not seen this problem if I encode using Tmpeg ver 12 or 12a but have seen it using version 12h, 2.0, 2.01, 2.53.
I am burning using Nero 5.578 and VCDEasy 1.08.
Not sure what is so special about Tmpeg ver12 /12a so that the video stuttering doesn't show up.
