  1. Ok i have a movie, that after a certain time the audio goes out of sync.

Now i don't think it is a gradual loss, but instead the video stutters, and the audio carries on, leaving it infront of the audio.

How can I fix this without moving it out of sync before the stutter?
Also how do i determine how much the audio is out of sync?

use gspot or avicodec to identify audio and video codecs.

    what do you play with?

I know cos i made it! but there must have been a scratch on the DVD or somthing.
I play it with Creative media source, but it happens the same with all players.
It is a problem with the file

Reencode again. There is obviously something going wrong at that point, resulting an a block of bad/undecodable frames, in turn resulting in sync problems. There's some guide on removing bad frames without getting audio sync probs, but I've never succeded. Less trouble to do it all over again from scratch.
