    Try VSO DivxToDVD. BTW there are many, many types of AVI, it's just a name for the container, not the format. You would need to be more specific. I'm guessing DIVX or XVID.

    Thanx for replyn but the avi file etc is on two disc's (cd-r) so can i like put both cds on one dvd r ??

    Yes. Convert each AVI seperately, then use your authoring software to place both files in the same track, and they will be automatically joined.
