Hi, I have converted many avi files before and have no problems. But, I have some questions about how to convert mkv to dvd (If is possible using one program). If not, how do you convert them and keep all the audio and subtitles. Because avi can only have one audio stream and hard sub. Thanks in advance!

avi2dvd supports ogm and mkv.
or demultiplex to separate audio and video streams with ogmdemuxer, virtualdubmod or mkvextractgui and then convert. -
Thanks, I'll give it a try.

Errr, avi does support multiple audio and softsub streams.
If you want to keep the multiple audio and subtitle streams, then you are probably going to have to demux them. You can then convert and re-add them during authoring. -
Oh, I didn't know that. Thanks for your help.

Hi, after I tried to use winavi, it didn't work very well. It had one audio stream and no subtitles. Then, I used avi2dvd, same problem. I guess now all I can do is use virtualdubmod to demux the files then remux them.

I did warn you. For mkv files mkvextract is more more reliable. VDubMod should be ok for ogm's. If not use ogmdemuxer.
