VCD Won't Play On DVD Player

I cut an MPEG into two parts using MPEG Cutter and burned them onto 2 disks using Nero 5. The Second disk plays fine on the DVD player but unfortunetely The first disk does'nt play (no sound and video).

Any suggestions?

Use a different (read: BETTER) mpeg editing app (try again on your original whole MPEG). Try Cuttermaran, Womble products, TMPGEnc MPEGeditor. They have a track record of WORKING correctly.

Hi. I have have similar problems. If you have not done it already try using nero express to burn your vcd instead of Nero burning. That worked for me and solved my problem with the sound.
