ok, i have a AVI video files that about 2 hours long. im using nero to burn this to dvd. when i try to burn it, it takes about 1-2 hours depending on how long the video file is. i have a 16x dual format burner.
how long is the process suppose to take?
is there any way i can improve on timing?
is there a faster program i can purchase?
or is ther a faster way to do this?
TY ahead of time.

You're talking about creating a video DVD right? (In contrast to just storing the AVI as a data file on a DVD.) In that case, 1-2 hours should be considered very quick, from 2 hour AVI source to a finished Video DVD, and your computer specs.
There are many better ways (see AVI to DVD under Convert left) but I think you'll find most of them more time and labor consuming.
You might try other oneclickwonder apps, but I don't think they'll make much difference timewise.
