British bookies are taking bets on what misfortunes might befall the royal couple duriing their wedding. Hehe, it reminds of a contest National Lampoon had years ago, giving out a prize to the person who came closest to guessing the time and date that Mamie Eisenhower would die. Here's the article on the bookies:

I heard a story regarding crockery (plates, cups etc) having the first wedding date embossed on them, only for the wedding date to change, thus rendering a shitload of crockery useless. Oops
    If in doubt, Google it.

Self-styled ``comedy terrorist'' Aaron Barshak, who gatecrashed William's 21st birthday party at Windsor wearing a tangled wig and a ball gown, is given a 50-1 chance of causing another major security breach on the big day.

The no-frills civil ceremony didn't take long at all.

Prince Charles and Camilla have done it in just 15 minutes.

It is now official after 35 years of love.

  10. Wasn't it ironic how the BBC chose to show the part of the ceremony where they promised fidelity to one another?

Yes, I found that interesting. But, they didn't "promise" fidelity. When each was asked if they would remain faithful, they both responded, "That is my resolve, with the help of God." Or, translated, "Well, I'll try." That way, later on, they can fall back on the excuse, "The spirit was willing but the flesh was weak."

BTW, I saw a few of the guests invited to the reception and admit I was a bit worried that someone might try something to add a little "humor" to the event. One of the guests was Rowan Atkinson (aka Mr. Bean). He looked very svelt and very dignified ... but figured if anyone could turn the event into a laugh riot, it would be him. But apparently, he remained dignified, hehe.

it's amazing how they have changed tune. I caught a few bits of the end with the commentators kissing ass by saying the public is accepting her now and all that licky ass shite

typical turnaround as usual. Normally they like to build them up then bring them down but this looks like is going to be the reverse
