  1. I use my minDv camera tu record junior soccer matches. I´ve always read recomendations to leave zooming and other features for editing . But I use Windvd creator 2 and Ulead videostudio 8 as I consider them very simple for Basic editing and I can not find in them this feature.
Which software do you recomend for editing that includes digital zooming so I can get closer views of the game.?

I don't know where you've read that, optical zoom using the lens in the camcorder is going to give far, far better quality that digital zooming later. Just don't use it too often or too fast. If your camcorder has optical and digital zoom, turn digital zoom off. It may let you get closer to the action, but you won't be happy with the results.

In fact, give this a try. Turn on digital zoom, and use it to zoom right in. Look at the blocky, pixely picture you get. This is what you will get if you soom using your editor. It might be a little bit better, but not much. Use the optical zoom, as pointed out earlier. That's what it's there for.
