Buffer Peoblem

when i burn a dvd with the BTC 1108IM and the process reaches about 88% the buffer goes down to the 80% marks and back up to 99 or 98%, and it keeps on doing this until the disk is done. when the disk is done and i ran a surface scan about 5% of it in unreadable. please tell me what to do. i have the latest firmware: B330. thank you.

I see you have not taken time out to list your setup under profile. Difficult to answer a question like this without that information.
