  1. hi everyone i was just looking for a bit of info. if i copy directly from a dvd to dvdr it plays just fine in my player but if i burn a video off my hard drive my dvd player wont play it ,i just want to know why whats the diffrence better the two why a exact copy plays but not any other type

    Hello,

    Did you copy the vobs themselves without the video_ts folder??? That might be the problem.

    If you ripped them to your harrddrive first you must include the video_ts and audio_ts (though the audio_ts isn't really needed because its empty but is part of the dvd specs ). Also use the "disc at once" option when burning.

  3. well i use winavi to make vts files and i always burn all the files with nero burning rom i was using dvdxcopy so it ripped the disk then burnt it all by itself those work but my others dont

  4. When you burn from your hard disk, are they authored in DVD format (I mean vob files + ifo + bup) ?

    Make sure when you burn with Nero to select the DVD_Video option and not DVD ISO.
