    I am after some software that lets me take most formats (ie mpeg's,avi's) and turn them into DVD's (MPEG-2) with great ease. Walking me through in quick easy steps, encoding at a reasonable speed and giving great results.

    It would be a bonus if there was such a program that allowed me to author too.

    Is this too much to ask or is there a program out there for a simple man like myself?
