I've used Inkjet Printable TY in my Epson R200, but I just ordered a 100 spindle of Hub Printable Taiyo Yuden DVD-R's.

The question I have is... what do you all do when you are printing the label from a DVD with a label that DID NOT cover the hub? It seems to me that there will be a big white area visiable on the "hub-printable" media. What do you all do in a situation like this?(If anything at all)

Use a label software like SureThing

Umm... ok.. I use Epson PrintCD which is basically the same thing, but that doesn't have anything to do with what I'm asking.

So do you guys go ahead and let the scanned hub be printed onto the disc? Or do you leave it blank.(white)

You can do that or create your own label. I create my own for Backups. I use poster art or scan the DVD case and use parts from that.

You can make a circle with the shift tab pressed down. Make i about the size you need it to be. Create a nice gradiant or whatever you want to decorate it with or leave it plain or any color shade you wish. Oh yes, you can do that in the Epson print cd software.

  8. I look online for custom labels made by others. There's about 3 sites that I check out. And then if that don't work, I follow any of the above mentioned suggestions, except for lifesajrny's.

iooi, I have about 40 TY printables that I will use for cases where I need them. I might end up getting some more of them, depending on how often I run into labels not setup for hubprintables.

HatchetMan, when I was printing to non-hub-printables, this is something I'd never thought of, but now that you mention it.. I remember that most custom labels at the cover sites were setup for hub-printables. Thanks.

jaxxboxx, is the bottom AFTER you customized it? Noticed the font difference for "the complete fourth season".
