    Why not check the DVD Media list for user opinions? In general Verbatim/MCC/MKM media is good quality. Maxell, TDK, TY, MCC/MKM and Ricoh media are considered the best in the industry.

  3. If these are the same as the 100 pack with the same exact label, they are MCC02RG20. These do very well on my 3500. It looks like the only other media code they might be is TY and either way you get a winner.

    Supermedia has these for a little less.

    Just got these, the media code is
    Disc MID = 4D 43 43 20 30 32 (MCC 02)
    Disc TID = 52 47 32 30 20 20 (RG20 )
    Nominal Capacity = 4.38GB
    Manufacturer Maybe = Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation
    Anyone use these?

    Yep, pretty good discs. My Plextor doesn't like them a whole lot but my Lite-On does.

    I bought a 50 pack of the DVD+R (MMC002) a while back and they are excellant. I can burn the 8x at 12x on my NEC 3500a.

    Even though Made in Taiwan, they are still good with Media ID = MCC 002? I got the DVD-R.

    Well I guess if someone in the US bought some Datalifeplus Pastel discs off ebay he/she could get some Verbatim TYs, but nothing retail. For whatever reason Verbatim doesn't sell TY discs for the US/Canada market.
