I've done to the download site and download the zip file, unzip it and it installs a bunch of directories. But there is no setup.exe. The .inf installation says there are files missing.

You need to compile it or download a pre-compiled build as suggested.

I like Gordian Knot, but there may be problems with it.
Gordian Knot has like every codec. and the installers for all.
Are there problems with Gordian Knot? -
Almost everyone I know who tried gordian knot codec-packs ended up having more trouble than its worth. And why would you ever need i.e. "Cinepak Radius Clear Video" codec?! Who in their any craziest mind would ever use it?Originally Posted by doppletwo
Just get latest DivX and latest XviD video codecs and you'll cover 99% of any AVI video thats being currently used in the world.
Any other codecs needed by some games etc etc are usually installed together with the game itself. -
Thanks for the info. Hasn't caused any problems for me yet though.
THank you again for your reply.snappy phrase
I don't know what you're talking about.
