I am a subsriber to dish network and wordering if anyone else may have this problem. On ceratin programs like on cbs the on screen graphics like the channel logo gets cut off during a show. When going to commercial it going back to its normal bottom right location. Another instance during a football game the on screen graphics for the scores where off my screen. It was mentioned that it maybe becasue of the program is being broadcasted in HD. My tv is standard and I have a standard dish receiver not an HD one. Could anyone elaborate or this issue or its possibilites.
Thanx All

Check you receiver settings to make sure the picture ratio is 4:3 or 16:9 which ever you are watching it on. It should be 4:3 unless you have a widescreen TV.
I have not had this problem however, so it may be something wrong with your receiver.
I would also like to mention that Dish Network is about 100 times better than Direct TV, it's cheaper and I've not had near the "loss of signal" that I had with Direct TV. Matter of fact, I've never lost reception with Dish, but lost it if I hummingbird took a piss over the Direct TV dish. -
I've noticed this happening too for the last few weeks. And, yes, this seems to happen on CBS most of the time. My receivers are set on 4:3, so I would expect the picture to be properly displayed. (Yes, this happens on all of my receivers, at the same time. I would imagine that this might be evidence of a transmission problem.) I called Dish about it and they are not sure what is causing it. Thay think that it may be a problem with the local feed, but that is pure speculation.

Just curious, dynamix, what part of the country are you in? I'm in the Atlanta area. Just wondering if this is a localized problem or more widespread.

Wonder if it's just this area or all over??? Anyone from another part of the country notice this happening?
