I live in a rural area of Calif. My house is on a hill and I do have a very good antenna
so I can receive my Network stations directly as digital even though the furthest one is about 75 miles away.
Also in my local community we have analog repeater stations that are still putting out a signal.
What I was wondering was how do these repeaters get their signal. Satelite, DSL,
Direct reception of the Digital over the air signal and than reconversion. I've been wondering about this for awhile because although my digital signal is mostly reliable, their repeater stations have macro blocks, locked pictures and sometimes loss of all picture.
Seems like if I can get a good digital picture, why can't the repeater stations. Or do they just not care? And isn't there supposed to someone in the govt. supervising this?
Tony

if the ones you have are like the ones we have in northern nh then they are analog to analog amplifiers. not digital at all. they are used where no tv transmitter signal can reach.
