do cheaper cd-rs work just as good as the more expensive ones. i have been looking on the net and found some good prices, i went to googlegear.com and thay Googlear.com CD-Rs 25 pck for 3.99. i am just using cds until dvd recording becomes affordable. i use them for recording tv shows i have recorded. not vcds but regular cds. thanks for any help.

They will work, how good they will work depends on your DVD Player, and your CD Burner, and on alot of aspects, but theoraticly they should work.

They work, but for how long on the cheap ones is questionable. Also the better ones have a scratch resistant surface which is worht getting if your going to use that disc a lot or keep it for a long time.
