Lord of the ring SVCD help

hi, here is my problem: I burned LOTR on a cd with cd rwin. everything went perfeclty but now my PC doesn't seem to read the cd rom. In my computer it's saying plz insert a cd.

SO do I absolutly need a Dvd player in my pc to read SVCD or there is a solution.

Thanks a lot, sorry if my question is stupid but I read everything on vcdhelp.com and tried a lot of appz and nothing is working. It's like my cd is empty but I know that the correct svcd is on.

no you dont need a dvd player all you need is POWERDVD 4.0 then open the mpg file from the svcd to play it

I had problems on the playback of this with PowerDVD. I had to use WinDVD.
