Hi,
I got a corrupted file that can be played, but not fully. I am trying to edit out the parts I want, so I can throw away the file.
When I load the file, it says:
MPEG File Parser: couldn't determine MPEG type.
The file is 700 MB. And I am only interested in keeping like 150 MB of it.
I have the original CD of the movie, but it has trouble loading. I have to try multiple times before it gets recognized. I have successfully ripped it into my computer using ISO Buster.
So now I want to edit out the good scenes I wanted.
How do I fix this?

Well I am not sure what program you are trying to use. But I have had pretty good luck using VirtualDubMod to take out bad frames. Only thing is that you would have to re-encode it losing quality.
