I have just copied a few of my old videos onto DVD-R format using a Lite-on Allwrite LVW-5005 recorder. It replays fine on this machine even after it has been finallised.
However, when I go to play it on my stand alone JVC XV-S332 player it does not play any sound. The picture works fine, just no sound.
Some other DVD-Rs authored on a PC work fine in this player so I don't think that is the problem of not being able to play DVD-R.
Another related question - these need to be edited further on PC to tighten scene changes and make half decent menus. I am wondering what sound settings/format should I give the video to make it readily compatiable with all DVD players (that will play burnt discs)
Thanks
