Anyone know of a hardware transcoder to convert DV to DVD ready mpeg?
Assuming Sony is able to make realtime DVD with their DVDcamcorder I figured that someone has taken the technology one step further and produced a standalone DVD encoder. Seems it would be faster and less cpu intensive than the software encoders currently available.

Use a DVD recorder that has a DV input. My Pioneer 210-S will do this.
