    Does anyone know if you can use Studio 7 to capture video with the Dazzle HB? I like the software and am considering buying the bridge to convert my VHS tapes to DV. Your comments please.

    Yes you can studio 7 used with a firewire card will read a captured video thru Hb as a avi format you can edit with studio 7 and then burn in vcd format studio 7 will convert the avi to vcd for you.

    Thanks Tazilla. I like the way Studio cuts up the capture into scenes. I wanted to make sure I could use 3rd party software with the Bridge before I buy it.

    Well, I see Pinnacle is coming out with Studio Deluxe which can capture analog,svideo and digital. Nice software bundle with DVD authoring included and 299! I will consider that too.
