Hi there,
I'm a newbie to the Mac world. I recently got a new G5 iMac. I have Final Cut Express 2.0. What I want to know is how can I rip a DVD that I already made using iDVD, convert the ripped DVD .vob file so that I can edit it in Final Cut and burn it back to DVD?
I have successfully ripped several of my DVDs using Mac the Ripper.
I have a program called ffmpegx that converts the .vob file to quicktime, however it never has audio. Is there another program that I can use to convert my .vob file into quicktime?
Thanks for your help,
Bryan

What codec/preset did you use for the conversion to QuickTime? What audio format was used?

Bryan, use MPEG Streamclip. Not only will your new QT file have audio, but it will be in sync, and the software will chunk it out into 1.99 gig parts so you can work with it in iDVD or FCE.Originally Posted by brydeemer
