Hi
On the above machine, running Windows XP, when I try to enable the CDRDAO Integration in VCD Easy, it tells me "You may experience problems, if so upgrade your ASPI drivers"
I have downloaded ASPI32.exe to update the drivers but it tells me I do no have any Adaptec Hardware for the drivers.
My questions then are
Can I run VCDEasy and CDRDAO without Adaptec H/w and ASPI drivers. I have tried installing ForcesASPI but the download will not run as its extension is .fr and Windows XP (Yes, I am running XP) does not know which application to open to run this.
How can I tell what hardware I have so that I can ask you guys an intelligent question about what softrware/process I should use to creaste VCD's.
Thanks in advance
Steve Graham

People will never learn, XP causes problems, and you just keep insisting on using it, oh well, lets see, email me, and i'll send you a package of ASPI Layer installation that will install even if you don't have Adaptec in your PC.
ASPI Layer is required for just about any program that is for CDRW and DVDEmail me for faster replies!
