Does any one know how I get a video clip to go faster, like x2?
I mean so that it's x2 every time I play it.

If you have premiere you can simply adjust it's speed to %200, and render that.

Just double the framerate. If its already an MPEG, you will have to re-encode with the associated quality loss, though.
This is similar to why very old film footage looks comically fast on modern video equipment...video used to be shot at 14fps.
