OK here's an easy one I'm sure.
Ok say I download a DivX movie trailer filev etc. It will play off my hard drive no problem at all, perfect sound and everything. I then convert it to DVD format using AVS media. It converts fine and plays with sound on all DVD players in the house inc XBOX.
.......But if I now put that DVD in my PC it will play fine but there's no sound, how come???![]()
All other commercial DVD's play on my PC with sound where am I going wrong![]()

what player software do you use? windows media player?
IŽll guess you need a direct show filter for AC3 or DTS decoding
Try to replay your file with VideoLan or Media Player Classic (both came with internal AC3/DTS support) or install an external AC3/DTS filter (like Valex unfinished Project or ffmpegGUI for replaying this file with windows media player
