philips dvr 75 and blue box when recording from ilink

I use the philips dvr 75 and i record from my videocamera through the ilink.The problem is that there is a blue box in the right corner that displays time and date and is recorded on the video.It is displayed in every dvd player .Is there a way to deactivate it??

I also have this same DVD recorder and have used iLink (Firewire) to record video from my camcorder. I see no blue box with time and date. I believe this is a setting on your camcorder that needs to be changed.

No my friend , i realized that this blue box is entered by the recorder into the video as a subtitle.You can turn it off from the player as a subtitle.The thing is that if your player has subtitles on from default you dont realize it and its iritating..I dont know how to deactivate it from the recorder..
