I fancied watching Withnail & I tonight but my Shaolin Soccer DVD has arrived. Should I go for my original selection of Withnail & I or tuck into my new DTS enabled Shaollin Soccer disc ?

Hmm.... You know worldwide I believe there are more people who don't like soccer than those that don't like roxette.

Why??? Because MOST sports fans in the US don't like soccer (or at least not enough to watch it frequently). Whereas Roxette has a worldwide following :P :P :P

I admit I don't know what Withnail & I is, but I did watch Shaolin Soccer, and found it a funny movie, not too damned bad.

Not crazy about subtitled movies, but done well, I think.

I would rate it as one of the funniest films ever made. The characters and dialogue may take some getting used to to non UK viewers but well worth the effort. You'll soon be demanding "the finest wines available to humanity" at your local diner.

Yeah, well, my favorite granddaughter plays soccer, not football. Never liked basketball till she started playing it, either.

Grampa gets to take her to all her games and practices. Who's a lucky old man?

Chose Shaolin Soccer eventually - absolutely amazing - I was roaring at some of the bits and loved the part where the lead character was booting the ball against the wall in training

George, see if you can rent a copy of Withnail & I, I think you'll be pleasantly suprised.
